The catch from today mornings trip to Lalbagh. Special thanks to Deepa/Anush for taking us to the location. Looking at this beautiful owl you really develop a respect for what camouflage in nature is all about. Knowing my spotting skills and identifying I am very sure on my own I would have never noticed it.
With this pair they were taking turns and sleeping while the other one kept watch :)

Excellent Photos! But am bit dejected that you have posted only two..that too of the Mottled Wood Owls. What about the Spotted one?
