Spotted Deer | Bandipur

Around the same time last year was in Bandipur. Sighting a spotted deer though common somehow spawns a set of a reactions after a long drive. Sudden realization dawns we have entered the forest area. Windows go down. Music is cut off. Overall alertness to sight and spot anything that possibly moves increases :) Here is an alert male spotted deer at Bandipur entrance.

Aloe Vera against Sky :
A view of Aloe vera flowers against the sky. The exposure was set for the sky's ambient light and the aloe vera flower was illuminated with flash.




Web in the mornings :
We had this spider outside home which used weave the web at mornings and dismantle it couple of hours later. I could not find any specific explanation though to describe this behavior.

Another surprise visitor outside our house.




Gaur calf Distracted:
While its herd ignored the safari vehicles passing by the calf stopped its chewing and took a quick look out of curiosity. Image made at bandipur.
