Couple of more images from the Valparai trip where i had B&W conversion in mind while making the image itself.
Ferns are always good candidates to look for symmetries and interesting patterns.

This image works for me because of the orientation of hoopoe's beak the perch it is on and the adhoc branches on the right side of the image have left orientation. One of the observations has been when ever i run into washed out skies i mostly find they become good candidates for B&W conversion.
