Jungle myna scape
The spotted owlet was sitting on this nice perch. Photographers are very fond of tree trunks like this because the isolated trunks can make the subject stand out and give a nice diffused background. In this case the owlet on seeing us moved to a nearby branch. The myna came and sat on this perch and refused to move out.


One more image of black headed oriole from masinagudi road. Just like other oriole shots made this under thick canopy cover in low evening light. In better light the shot would have come out even better.
