Made a short trip to thol bird sanctuary in ahmedabad. First time visit so was not sure what to expect. Looks like i landed in the off season time. So no flamingoes. They arrive during winter. With some planning this should be a good place to make some nice flight shots. Saw some of the regular birds like cormorants, darter, river tern, open bill stork, black headed ibis and green bee eater.
