Was in Bhadra near dam backwaters for 3 days. What a beautiful place. As a part of boat ride we visited an island which the guide calls "pratincole island". I am guessing people who have visited Bhadra already know about this place. Got a chance to make couple of portrait shots of pratincole. But I also liked the rocky terrains close to water in which the pratincoles were moving about. The pratincole's body color beautifully blended with the surrounding terrain making it difficult to even spot them. Based on the above setting was trying to make some images where the pratincole would just seem as an extension to the rocky landscape. Of the lot I had made liked this one and it seemed closer to what I had in mind.
