Made a visit to Manchinbele in the morning with Jaimon. Think that place is becoming our favourite for the diversity of birds we get to see when we visit. My favourite images from today's trip.

Purple Sunbird
This is the male purple sunbird. Though a common bird this is the first time I have made some decent images of this small colourful bird.


Eye Contact
We saw the female baya weaver feeding the male. In the middle of feeding for a moment they stopped and looked at each other. Have been wondering since then what was going on in their minds when they made the eye contact :)
