Visit to Shivanahalli
Shivanahalli is a place around 7 kms away from Banerghatta
National Park. With a group of 12 Nature Enthusiasts had visited the
place today morning. Some shots from the trip. The flowers below
observed them standing in unique light.

Following two shots technically they are not perfect. But they are unique in their own way.

Purple Sunbird in Flight
I am observing this behavior for the first time. This was totally an
unprepared shot. Still learning. Have a long way to go. Next time
should go with better planning and preparation.

Ashy (Grey) Drongo
Heard that this is a winter migrant and not a resident bird. Seeing it for the first time. Hopefully should get an opportunity to see it again.

Hey Mahesh,

Nice pictures. Great timing on the purple Sunbird shot.

The Drongo looks like a Grey (Ashy) Drongo to me.

Cheers,
Neelu
