The little green bee eater is very common in the forest area. We were there in the dandeli backwaters and we noticed a lot of them. One thing with these guys is that at the end of the day when they reach there roosting site ( resting site ) they cuddle up with other bee eaters (might be there family members) till the next day morning. Check this link. It might take time to load but it is worth it. I was on look out for a similar site but luck was not on my side ...
