Today we had gone to Bheemeshwari for team picnic. I had taken the camera with me since there was a evening trek planned and was hoping might see lesser fish eagle or flamed rump back since these have been sighted before at this place but did not see anything. During the chat about cameras and lenses shyam casually asked me if I had tried shooting the moon with my 300mm prime lens. Until then I had not given a thought to shoot the moon using this lens and coincidentally while driving back home after the trip saw the moon was not hidden in clouds. So after reaching home went out and tried shooting it. The result seems decent. The last time I tried shooting moon it was with my sigma 70 300 the result was a disaster but with this lens more details are visible.
