When I took this photo and saw it in the camera display i saw yellow spots on head and i was wondering if it was another variety of purple rumped sunbird but came to know later that it is a female lotens sunbird.The male have a similar beak structure but are completely blue in colour. In this photo got a pleasing background because of the soft morning light and secondly the bird when it sat on the perch it was correctly illuminated.
