Last weekend me and Jaimon went to Mavathur Lake which is around 45kms from Jaimon's house. It is in Kanakapura itself. It is a beautiful place. It is not a lake itself it is backwaters with lot of bird activity happening. We saw
1. Oriental skylark ( Had by mistake marked as bushlark )
2. Stilts
3. Barn swallow
4. Pied kingfisher
But this guy was the first guy we met. We stopped the scorpio because this guy ran in front of us. We got down and took a couple of shots before he decided to take off.
